Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital awarded Christine Tilker, of Lake Bluff, with the “Communication” Nursing Excellence award at this year’s Nurses’ Week luncheon. Tilker works in the hospital’s Day Surgery department.
Award recipients are nominated and selected by their colleagues. “Celebrating our nurses during Nurses’ Week only begins to show how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication,” said Kim Nagy, vice president of Operations and Chief Nurse Executive.
Overall, 11 nurses and two support staff members were presented awards at this year’s luncheon.
