Lake Forest, Lake Bluff Residents Take Leadership Roles

Physicians from the communities of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff were named to leadership roles on the hospital's medical staff leadership team.

 

recently named several physicians from the communities of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff to leadership roles on the hospital’s medical staff team.

Dr. Kim Sobinsky was named president of the medical staff leadership team; Dr. Stanley Dee was named vice president of the medical staff leadership team; Dr. Dean Tsarwahs was name secretary/treasurer of the medical staff leadership team; Dr. Aristeidie Divers was named chief of Anesthesiology; Dr. Michael Peters was named chief of Emergency Medicine; Dr. Robert Hartman was named chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Dr. Joseph Colligan was named vice chief of Anesthesiology; Dr. Michael Hubbell was named vice chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Dr. David Wang was named vice chief of Pathology; Dr. Douglas Ashley was named vice chief of Pediatrics, and Dr. Paul Steinwald was named vice chief of Surgery.

These physicians are among 19 named to leadership roles on the hospital’s medical staff leadership team. The physicians were selected by a medical staff committee after being nominated by peers in their respective departments.

“These physicians are among the finest in their fields,” said Dr. Michael G. Ankin, chief medical officer at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. “Medicine is evolving every day, and we could not ask for better leadership as we bring new clinical programs and cutting-edge procedures to the communities we serve.”
