Helen D. Green, (nee DeLong), 100, of Lake Forest died Dec. 1.
She was born Jan. 2, 1913 and worked as an elementary school teacher. Before moving to Lake Forest, she lived in Chicago and Sarasota, Fla.
She was the beloved wife of the late Harold E. “Pete” Green and Wilson Brown; loving mother of the late Richard (Karin), Michael and James Murney Green; dear grandmother of Timothy (Allison Rickett), Tracy and Andrew (Donna Van Dyke) Green; cherished great-grandmother of Nina and Brooke Rickett-Green, Ted and Katherine Van Green and fond sister of the late Earl H. DeLong.
No services are planned. Arrangements are being handled by Haben Funeral Home & Crematory in Skokie.
