Former Lake Forest High School Booster Club Member Dies

A treasurer of the Booster Club, Lake Forest resident Jon T. Wagenknecht passed away May 21 at the age of 63.

Among his passions were tennis and cooking.
He is survived by his four children, Theodore, Paige, Leigh and Wyatt, his sisters Lynn, Ann and Celenda, and brothers Karl and Eric.

Born June 2, 1948 to Dr. Theodore Wagenknecht and Verda M. Hamann, Jon grew up in Streator, Ill. He graduated from Wayland Academy in 1966, received a bachelor's degree from Princeton University in 1971, and earned an MBA from The University of Chicago in 1973.
