J. Roy Asmussen, 84, Founder of Roy A. Asmussen & Associates, Chicago and a resident of Lake Forest since 1974, died March 15, 2014.
Husband of Agnes Vasilko Asmussen; Father of Roy Michael (Vilaiwan) Asmussen, David Allen (Tracy) Asmussen, James Robert (Simone) Asmussen, Douglas Todd (Kristine) Asmussen and Dana Marc (Eileen) Asmussen; Grandfather of 13; Brother of the late Sandra Rose Norum.
Funeral mass 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Interment – Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines. Visitation from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 E. Vine Avenue, Lake Forest.
