Terrance M. “Terry” Moreno, 61, a longtime resident of Lake Forest, passed away on March 10, 2014 at home with his wife and daughter at his side.
Terry was recently an executive with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause and previously was the owner and founder of Forest Ridge Consulting Group. He was active in scouting for many years and attained the Eagle Scout rank. Terry loved playing tennis in the summer and platform tennis in the winter at Lake Forest Club where he was past president. He also had a great passion for traveling.
He was the devoted husband of 36 years to Wendy; proud father of Katherine of Dallas, TX; brother of Kevin (Tina) Moreno of Grayslake; brother-in-law of Cindy (John) Bell of Gurnee; uncle of Megan (Nick) Shaver, Emily and Audrey Moreno, Ryan Stolarik and Vito and Dominick Martinelli and a great-uncle of Brody Shaver.
Memorial visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 with a 2 p.m. memorial service at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Avenue, Lake Forest. Interment will be private.
