Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering and the H.P. City Council have enacted an Assault Weapons Ban that includes Shotguns, Handguns and Sporting Rifles. We must not allow local bureaucrats to have a say in our Constitutional Rights, no city council has the right to infringe upon our Constitutional Rights and Highland Park has crossed the line. Residents have been ordered to remove their legally purchased firearms or face confiscation of their firearms and criminal charges. The complacent populace of Highland Park elected and supported these bureaucrats and their Anti-Second Amendment Agenda... we must not support Highland Park, we must boycott a place where our Constitutional Rights have been effected by a bunch of locally elected bureaucrats.
