WARNING: REP. SCOTT DRURY, INCORRECT AGAIN!

Rep. Scott Drury has posted on his website and facebook page that "As of Jan. 1, 2014.,  people can carry loaded concealed weapons", this is simply not true. There has not been a single Conceal Carry License issued by the Illinois State Police and they are still enforcing the AUUW /UUW Law. Even though it was struck down as unconstitutional by the Federal Appeals Court and the Illinois Supreme Court. In my opinion, this is a very dangerous statement for Rep. Scott Drury to make, because somebody may not know that it is incorrect and they could be arrested and charged with a Felony Weapons Violation, the AUUW /UUW Law is still being enforced. Rep. Scott Drury is a bureaucrat and in my opinion, the most dangerous public official in Illinois. This error in his statement, could have enormous consequences for a citizen that believes his non-sense. The absence of any information about the Conceal Carry License required and that it has not yet been issued to anyone, in my opinion, is an epic failure to properly inform the public of all of the facts in this matter. Rep. Scott Drury pushed for "Assault Weapons Bans" and now he is pushing for "NO CONCEALED CARRY" stickers in businesses. Do you really want to tell an Abused-Wife, that she may not enter your premises, because she has a gun to protect herself and her children from a man that has swore to kill them? Will you protect them? Will you be held liable for not protecting them? Serious questions for a serious issue... a Constitutional Rights Issue.
