School District 67 School Board Election - Candidate Clarification from Patrick Patt
Statement from Patrick Patt, Candidate for District 67 Board of Education
A blog appeared on the Patch today which seemed to imply a connection between my campaign and that of Mr. Ted Moorman who is running for the District 115 Board of Education.
I would like to clarify that I am an independent candidate running for a seat on the District 67 School Board. I have never met Mr. Moorman nor do I have any connection to his campaign.
I am a truly independent candidate with a background in education as a teacher, a principal, a superintendent, a graduate school professor of Educational Leadership and a volunteer tutor at Everett School. My family and I have lived in Lake Forest for over 23 years and I have a deep desire to contribute to the education of our children through service on the District 67 Board of Education.

A few weeks ago I posted my Biography and my Position Statement on the Patch to inform voters about my experience and my qualifications to serve on the board. I have previously sent a post card mailing to every registered voter in Lake Forest and I have a second post card mailing that will arrive at the end of the week.
I would encourage you to review my credentials and vote for me on Tuesday, April 9th.
