5 Charged with Underage Drinking in Lake Forest

ALCOHOL

San Hsu, 19, of 555 N. Sheridan Road, Lake Forest, was cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor at 1:07 a.m. Oct. 6 at Lake Forest College. She was assigned an administrative hearing Nov. 13 at City Hall. 

Grace M. Dowling, 19, of 555 N. Sheridan Road, Lake Forest, was cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor after police responded to a report of an intoxicated person at 12:49 a.m. Oct. 6 at Lake Forest College. She was assigned an administrative hearing Nov. 13 at City Hall.

Matthew J. Gleason, 20, of 3402 Wembley Drive, Zion, was charged with driving under the influence at 11:58 p.m. Oct. 5 on Route 41 at Deerpath Road after he was stopped for speeding. He was released on a $3,000 bond and given an Oct. 22 court date at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan. 

Charles R. Stein, 20, of 164 Western Ave., Lake Forest, was cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 5 on Ivy Court at Maywood after police responded to a complaint about a loud party. He was assigned an administrative hearing Nov. 13 at City Hall.

James Cusan, 19, of 555 N. Sheridan Road, Lake Forest and Ethan E. Misour, 19, of 3728 Saxonburg Blvd., Pittsburgh, Penn., were cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor at 11:36 p.m. Oct. 4 on McCormick at Sheridan Road. Both were passengers in a vehicle that was stopped for a seat belt violation. They were assigned administrative hearings Nov. 13 at City Hall.

ATTEMPTED IDENTITY THEFT

Maurice E. Smith, 29, of 1510 S. Komenski Ave., Chicago, was charged with attempted identity theft, a felony, after police responded to Verizon Wireless for a report of a person attempting to fraudulently obtain cell phones on another customer’s account. The account holder told police he did not know Smith and did not authorize him to access the account. Smith’s bond was set at $5,000 and his court date is Oct. 25 at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.

DRUGS

A 17-year-old female student at Lake Forest High School was cited for illegal control of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia Oct. 3 after a staff member discovered she had cannabis and smoking pipes in her possession on campus. Her bond was set at $120 and she was given a Nov. 6 court date at the Lake County Courthouse in Park City.
