Applications Now Accepted for Lake Forest Citizens Police Academy
The Citizens Police Academy will teach residents more about the police department and the role of the department in the community.
The Lake Forest Police Department will hold their 20th Citizens Police Academy on Sept. 18., according to the Lake Forester. The program aims to help citizens better understand the police department, and increase awareness of police in the community.
Twenty topics are covered int he class, including hiring and training of officers, dispatching, DUI enforcement, investigations, crime prevention and many more, the article states. Applications are available at the Lake Forest Police Department and online here.
