Between 2:02 a.m. and 5:22 a.m. Nov. 20, an officer wrote seven warnings for parking on village streets. No parking is allowed between 1 and 7 a.m. Five warnings were written between 3:37 and 5:16 a.m. Nov. 19. Four warnings were written between 1:25 and 4:54 a.m. Nov. 18. Five warnings were written between 1:11 and 2:08 a.m. Nov. 17, and one warning was written at 3:35 a.m. Nov. 16.

An officer responded to 300 block of Weatherford Court for a report of suspicious males walking in the area at 9:53 a.m. Nov. 19. The officer observed them to be Jehovah Witnesses.

Suspicious Circumstance

An officer observed a vehicle parked on Mountain and Sunrise avenues in a No Parking area at 5:08 p.m. Nov. 18. The driver said he was watching the planes and the lake. The officer issued a verbal warning and the driver left without incident.

Domestic Dispute

An officer responded to a complainant who came to the Public Safety Building regarding her sister hiding her phone at 12:07 p.m. Nov. 18. The complainant agreed to meet the officer at the home in the 300 block of West Sheridan Place to obtain the phone. The officer met both subjects and their mother. The officer verified the phone belonged to the mother, who wanted it placed back in the guest room. The hidden phone was located and returned to the guest bedroom.

LAKE FOREST

Public Indecency

Daniel F. Moreno, 647 Homewood Ave., Highwood, was charged with public indecency at 12:15 p.m. Nov. 8 near Green Bay and Cherokee roads. Police said Moreno knowingly exposed his penis in a lewd manner to the victim with the intent to arouse his sexual desires. He was held for a bond hearing on Nov. 19 in Waukegan. No further information was available.

Minor Consumption of Alcohol

Nicholas E. Johnson, 18, 555 N. Sheridan Road, Lake Forest, was charged with minor consumption of alcohol at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 13. Johnson had become intoxicated and was sick, police said. He signed a release for the ambulance crew. Police said Johnson was found to have consumed an alcoholic beverage and was younger than 21. He was assigned an administrative hearing Dec. 14 at .

Battery

Maureen B. O’Grady, 45, 270 Ahwahnee Lane, Lake Forest, was charged with battery at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 13. According to the report, O’Grady made physical contact of an insulting nature by slapping an officer in the face during the course of another investigation. She was assigned an administrative hearing Dec. 14 at .

Matthew M. Jeffrey, 41, 1112 Tanglewood Court, Apartment 69, Bellevue, Neb., was charged with battery at 11:48 a.m. Nov. 12 in the 400 block of Cherokee Road. Jeffrey grabbed the victim’s shirt from behind, pulling him backward, caused bodily harm by taking him to the floor and striking him in the face with his first and grabbing him by the hair, police said. He posted a $120 bond pending a Nov. 29 court date in Waukegan.

Driving Under the Influence

Jose Luis Flores, 50, 2812 N. Lewis Ave., Waukegan, was charged with improper lane use, DUI and aggravated DUI at 3:50 a.m. Nov. 13 near Route 41 and Gage Lane. Flores was stopped for improper lane use, failed a field sobriety test and submitted to a breath test, which indicated a blood alcohol level of .099, authorities said. The legal limit is .08. He posted a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Dec. 13 court date n Waukegan.

Raoul J.M. Elli, 44, 2850 Duffy Lane, Riverwoods, was charged with speeding, driving without headlights, DUI and DUI over .08 at 12:32 a.m. Nov. 12 near Waukegan and Everett roads. Elli was stopped for driving 52 mph if a 35 mph zone and driving without headlights when required, police said. He failed the field sobriety test and submitted a breath test, which indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .180, according to police. He posted a$150 bond and his Illinois driver’s license pending a Dec. 13 court date in Waukegan.

Possession of Marijuana/Fugitive from Justice – Forgery

Alan E. Goodman, 38, 4825 S. Drexler, Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and was identified as a fugitive of justice for a forgery charge in the 600 block of Forest Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 8. Police said Goodman had in his possession not more than 2.5 grams of marijuana and a ceramic tube used for inhaling marijuana. Goodman was charged with forgery in Fulton County, Georgia, and had fled the state to avoid prosecution, police said. He posted a $120 bond pending a Nov. 30 court date in Waukegan.

Forgery Warrant Arrest

Deana M. Taylor, 39, 590 Roseann Lane, Apt. 37, Lockport, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 9 on a warrant for forgery after writing a fraudulent check to the victim to receive a product and cash. The original incident took place at 7:41 p.m. June 1. Taylor was held on a $25,000 bond pending a Nov. 10 court date in Waukegan. No further information was available.
