Blotter: Trip to Bluff's Edge Beach Draws Police

 Driving Under the Influence (DUI)

Rexford Wright, 31, of the 1000 block of S. Waveland Road, Lake Forest, Illinois, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, improper lane usage, battery, aggravated battery to a police officer, no registration lamps and resisting a police officer after being stopped by police near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Green Bay Road, Highland Park. Wright was transported to bond court in Waukegan pending court date.

Possession of Marijuana

Preston C. Bradley, 21, was charged with possession of marijuana at 10:12 p.m. June 22 at Bluff's Edge Beach. Preston had in his possession of no more than 2.5 grams of marijuana. He posted a $150 bond pending a July 11 court date in Waukegan.

Minor Possession of Alcohol

A 16-year-old Lake Bluff juvenile was charged with minor possession of alcohol at 7:36 p.m. June 22 near the intersection of Lexington Drive and Inverlieth Road. The juvenile was in possession of an alcoholic beverage and under the age of 21. He was assigned to an administrative hearing July 11 at

Peter J. Rigali, 18, 416 Pine Court, Lake Bluff, was charged with minor possession of alcohol at 10 p.m. June 22 at Bluff's Edge Beach. Rigali was parked east of Sheridan Road on Bluff's Edge. Rigali and a female juvenile were found on a private beach. Rigali was in possession of a bottle of whiskey and under the age of 21. He was assigned to an administrative hearing July 11 at



Minor Consumption of Alcohol

Anne Gressens, 20, of the 300 block of Prospect, Lake Bluff, was cited with consumption of alcohol by a minor after the vehicle Gressens was a passenger in was stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Gressens was cited to Administrative Court at City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Ave., Highland Park and is expected in court July 19.
