Burglars Take Jewelry From Lake Bluff Home
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Burglary
Burglars took more than $1,000 worth of jewelry Feb. 8 from a home in the 300 block of Mawman Avenue, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. There does not appear to be a forced entry at this time and the police continue to investigate.
Theft

A Mac Book Pro computer valued at $1,300 was taken from the bleacher area of the Lake Bluff Recreation Center Feb.10., according to Lake Bluff Police reports. It was a taken before 4:30 p.m. that day.
Driver’s License Infractions

Patrick Dixon, 24, of Waukegan was arrested for driving with a suspended license and speeding Feb. 12, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Police clocked Dixon driving 51 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per-hour zone on Sheridan Road near the railroad station. A subsequent check showed Dixon’s license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. March 5 in Park City.
Norman Maldonado-Marcia, 34, of Waukegan was arrested Feb. 7 for driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Maldonado-Marcia was recorded driving 68 miles per hour in a 55-mile per hour zone on Highway 41 near the northern Village limits. A subsequent check showed Dixon’s license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court on March 5 in Park City.
