Car Window Smashed, Purse Stolen

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle 

A purse was taken from the back seat of an automobile in the 700 block of East Center Street Sunday after a window on the car was shattered, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Police canvassed the area and continue to investigate. 

Theft

Two long boards were taken in the vicinity of Sunrise Beach Tuesday according to Lake Bluff Police reports. One of the boards is valued at $300 and the other at $220. 

Driver’s License Infraction

Lorenzo Sandoval, 41, of Highwood was arrested Monday for driving without a valid driver’s license and improper lane usage, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Police observed Sandoval cross over the center lane twice while driving northbound on Highway 41. After stopping him, police learned he did not have a license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. July 2 in Park City.
