A Lake Bluff man was indicted for solicitation to meet a child, a Class 4 Felony, by the Lake County Grand Jury Wednesday in Waukegan, according to a news release from the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Eric Silver, 22, was originally arrested Nov. 18 by the Highland Park Police when he was parked in a car in the 100 block of Central Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. The vehicle looked suspicious to police on a routine patrol.
Silver will be arraigned in Lake County Criminal Court Jan. 8 in Waukegan. At that time he will have the opportunity to plead guilty or not guilty. Should Silver be convicted, he faces between one and three years in prison.
