Copper Gutter Thief Hits Two Homes in Same Block

A Lake Forest College student was also charged with possession of a fake ID in this edition of the Lake Forest police blotter.

The following information is from the Lake Forest Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Driving while license suspended

Charles C. Graham, 33, of Zion, was stopped for speeding April 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Route 41 and Gage Lane and taken into custody when the officer learned he was driving on a suspended license. He was released on $1,500 bond and given a May 6 court date.

Victor F. Alvarez, 33, of Park City, was stopped for speeding March 27 at 11:30 p.m. at Route 41 and Gage Lane and taken into custody when the officer learned he was driving on a suspended license. He was released on $1,500 bond with an April 15 court date.

Gutter theft

Someone stole copper gutters from two homes in the 400 block of East Illinois Road between March 21 and 30. Anyone with information should contact Det. Mark Senger at SengerM@cityoflakeforest.com

Possession of false ID

An officer who was investigating a false fire alarm at Lake Forest College spoke with Justin R. Ruppe, 19, of Lake Oswego, OR, and saw that he had a fake driver’s license. He was charged with possession of false identification and released on $1,500 bond with an April 17 court date.
