Coworkers Squabble, One Gets Arrested

Battery
Mary Lyczko, 55 of Lake Bluff was arrested for battery July 23, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Lyczko had a disagreement with a fellow employee at her place of work over a matter regarding a customer. In the course of the disagreement, the victim told police Lyczko grabbed her.

A wallet containing a driver’s license, other identification and gift cards was reported stolen Monday from the Lake Bluff Recreation Center, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.

Darnell Whitehead, 25 of Waukegan was arrested Monday for driving on a suspended license, speeding and driving an uninsured motor vehicle, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After stopping Whitehead for driving 76 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone on Highway 41, police learned his license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3 in Park City.
Marcia Matute, 30, of Waukegan was arrested Monday for driving without a valid driver’s license and disobeying a stop sign, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After stopping Matute for disobeying the stop sign at East Center and Evanston Avenues, police learned she did not have a valid license. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3.
