Criminal Damage to Property, Obstructing Justice

Criminal Damage to Property

Michael A. Specialle, 18, of Chicago, is being charged with criminal damage to property, according to Lake Forest Police reports. His administrative hearing is set for Jan. 9 at City Hall.

The report states that Specialle was cited on Dec. 7 for an incident that occurred at Lake Forest College on Dec. 2, where he was witnessed punching out the glass on two fire extinguisher cases.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

Reginald Branch, 20, of Chicago is being charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Forest Police reports. His administrative hearing is set for Jan. 9 at City Hall.

Branch was discovered by Lake Forest College Security intoxicated in a hallway in one of the dormitories, according to police reports. He refused medical attention and was cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Obstructing Justice (Class 4 Felony)

Salomon Hernandez, 33, of Highwood, is being charged with class 4 felony of obstructing justice, according to Lake Forest Police reports. His bond is set at $65,000 and his hearing is set for Dec. 18 in Waukegan.

The report states that officers took Hernandez into custody at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL when he was released after serving five years on an unrelated charge. Hernandez has been wanted since 2007 on a Lake Forest arrest warrant for obstructing justice after he falsified his identity during a traffic arrest by Lake Forest Police. Hernandez was transported for a bond hearing in Waukegan on Dec. 8.
