Officers located a broken garage door window at 6:16 p.m. Sept. 28 on the east side of the Shephard Chevrolet building. They also found a duffle bag containing personal belongings and several shoe prints on the door next to the garage door with the  broken window. Police found a man walking on the property returning to the duffle bag. The man told police that he was homeless and had left his bag on the property while walking to a restaurant for dinner. The man’s shoe prints did not math the prints on the door, and the man told police he had not entered the building or seen the broken window.
