Four Teens Cited for Underage Drinking on 4th of July

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The information below comes from the Lake Forest Police Department.

Domestic battery

Police responded to a report of two men fighting in the road on Route 60 near Suffolk Lane. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Kole M. Komarov, 25, of Deerfield, and Alejandro Sanchez, 22, of Waukegan and witnesses. Komarov was taken into custody for domestic battery. Sanchez was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia when a smoking pipe belonging to him was discovered by officers. Sanchez was released on bond with a court date of 8/20/13 at 1:30 PM in Park City. Komarov was held overnight and taken to a bond hearing atLake County Jail. He was ordered held on a $10,000 bond.

Consumption of alcohol by minor

Police responded to a report of two intoxicated teens walking on Green Bay Road. Two juveniles were located by an officer on foot in the 200 north block. Both admitted to have been drinking at Deerpath Park, were cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor and released to a parent. Both have an August administrative hearing date.

An intoxicated juvenile was located passing out at Deerpath Park. He was examined by paramedics and released to his parents.He was later cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor and has an August administrative hearing date.

Driving while license revoked

Antonio Segura‐Layva, 24, of Waukegan, was stopped for speeding on Route 41 and taken into custody for driving on a revoked driver’s license. He was processed and released on bond with a July court date.

Obstructing justice

An officer stopped a car driven by two juveniles for driving without headlights. The driver, a fifteen year old from Wilmette, was cited for driving without a driver’s license. The passenger, a sixteen year old from Hinsdale, was cited for a curfew violation. Both were released to adults.On 6/21/13, the arresting officer learned that the sixteen year old from Hinsdale had lied about her name at the time of arrest. She was later cited for obstructing justice. Both girls have an August court date.
