Horses Escape Onto Sheridan Road

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Horses Escape 

Horses broke a fence at Crabtree Farm last week and escaped onto Sheridan Road, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. The farm’s caretaker was called and police assisted getting the horses back onto farm property. 

Theft

Stefania Rogulewski, 61, of Lake Forest was arrested July 27 for theft from Dominick’s, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. She was observed by the Dominick’s store manager and loss prevention personnel placing some items in her purse and others in a cart before she left the cart in the store and departed. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 8:45 a.m. August 19 in Waukegan. 

Criminal Damage to Property

A car parked on the side of the roadway in the 100 block of North Avenue was reported to have been deliberately scratched around July 26, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. 

Illegal Transportation of Alcohol 

Angelica Tabon-Castillo, 23, of North Chicago was arrested July 27 for illegal transportation of alcohol, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After police stopped the car in which she was riding for disobeying a traffic control device in the vicinity of Shagbark Road and Highway 176, police discovered she was improperly transporting alcohol. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3 in Park City. 

Driver’s License Infraction and More 

Abner Olivares-Vercara, 29, of North Chicago was arrested July 27 for driving with a suspended license and disobeying a traffic control device, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After stopping him for disobeying the traffic control device in the vicinity of Shagbark Road and Highway 176, police discovered he did not have a license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3 in Park City.
