Identity Theft Costs Lake Bluff Resident $1,544.73

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Identity Theft 

A Lake Bluff resident discovered four unknown charges totaling $1,544.73 on a debit card August 16 when the bank statement arrived, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. The bank was notified and police gave the victim an identity theft kit.

A window in a car parked at the Lake Bluff train station was reported smashed at approximately 9:45 p.m. August 17, according to Lake Bluff Police reports

Theft

A bench valued at $200 was reported stolen from the front porch of a home in the 200 block of Moffett Road between 10 p.m. August 17 and 7:27 p.m. August 18, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. 

Drivers’ License Infractions and More 

Antoine Jamison, 43, of Round Lake was arrested Tuesday for driving on a revoked license, a Class 4 felony because of repeated violations, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Police found Jamison driving in and out of the Union Church after receiving a complaint he was coming to the church on a regular basis to ask for money. After stopping him, police discovered his license was revoked and he had been stopped a number of times for the same offense. The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office approved felony charges. He is set to appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Sept. 9 in Waukegan. 

Vincent Williams, 49, of North Chicago was arrested Thursday for driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with expired registration. Police stopped Williams in the vicinity of Green Bay Road and West Washington Street because of the expired registration. After the stop, police learned his license was suspended and he did not have insurance. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 1 in Park City.
