Burmeister said the woman was a visitor in the house, which is owned by James Duggan, who resides at another house in Lake Forest, according to Lake County records.

By email, a resident on Castlegate Court indicated the house has been on the market for at least five years, and a staging company has been trying to sell it, according to the resident.

The resident noted, "the people who 'stage' the house bring in fake furniture and make it look like someone lives there. Then they rent it for a nominal rate. And people live there ready to show the house at moments notice."

Burmeister said the name of the woman was not being released, and the cause of infant's death is unknown at this time.
