Lake Bluff Police Blotter: Fugitive Charged With DUI and More

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI 

Gerald Roland, 62, of North Chicago, a fugitive wanted for failure to appear in court, was arrested for driving under the influence and driving with one headlight Wednesday, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. 

Police spotted Roland driving with only one headlight illuminated on Sheridan Road near Blodgett, according to the report. After stopping him, the investigation led to an arrest for driving under the influence. An investigation also revealed Roland was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Roland was transported to the Lake County Jail, according to the report. He will appear in court on the Lake Bluff charges at 9 .m. Feb. 8 in Waukegan.

Noe Lara-Cardona, 35, of Waukegan was arrested Jan. 19 for driving without a valid license and speeding, according to Lake Bluff Police reports

Police clocked Lara-Cardona driving 41 miles per hour in a 30-mile-per-hour zone near the intersection of Green Road Bay and West Witchwood Lane. After the stop, an investigation revealed Lara-Cardona did not have a valid license. Lara-Cardona was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court on Feb. 5 in Park City. 

Leonard Amedio, 26, of Antioch was arrested Jan. 18 for driving with a suspended license and speeding, according to Lake Bluff police reports. 

Police clocked Amedio driving 46 miles per hour in a 35-mile-per-hour zone in the 1000 block of Green Bay Road. Further investigation showed his license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 5 in Park City.
