Lake Bluff Police Make 4 Alcohol-Related Arrests

ALCOHOL

Amanda Richards, 22, of the 12700 block of West Atlantic Avenue, Waukegan, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit, speeding and driving with a suspended registration at 2:08 a.m. Nov. 3 at Waukegan and Rockland roads. Her court date is Nov. 22 at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.

John T. Zeravica, 58, of the 32900 block of North Thornapple Lane, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit and improper lane usage at 12:54 a.m. Oct. 30 at Atkinson and Waukegan roads. His court date is Nov. 22 at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.

Jacqueline Perez, 19, of the 2700 block of West Glen Flora Avenue, Waukegan, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after an officer stopped her for speeding at 4:13 a.m. Oct. 21 near the intersection of Routes 41 and 176. Her passenger, Nurya L. Silva, 20, of 1311 Paul St., Waukegan, was also charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Both were given Dec. 3 court dates at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Skokie Highway to assist the Lake County Sheriff’s office with an intoxicated motorist at 1:33 a.m. Nov. 3. On their way to the scene, Lake Bluff officers noticed a traffic light at Skokie Valley Road and Route 176 had been knocked down and they determined that crash was related to the same motorist. Lake Bluff police notified the Illinois Department of Transportion of the downed traffic light and the Lake County Sherriff’s office took the crash report.
