Lake Forest Man Arrested for Slapping a Juvenile

Consumption of alcohol by a minor

April 28: Police and an ambulance responded to Lake Forest College for a report of a highly intoxicated student. BenjaminD. Larsen, 20, of , Mendota Heights, Minn., was transported to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and later cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Driving under the influence

April 27: An officer responded to Route 41 for a cell phone complaint of a possibly intoxicated driver. There he located Lauren M. Mcardle, 27, of Lake Forest, swerving in and out of her lane.He stopped Mcardle, who admitted to drinking and exhibited a strong odor of alcohol. She was arrested, processed and released on bond with a May court date. Because she failed to complete all chemical tests required, Mcardle’s driving privileges will be suspended for a minimumof 12 months.

Domestic battery

April 29: Officers and Lake Forest Fire Department paramedics responded to the lobby ofthe Public Safety Building for a report of battery victim who had walked in. The victim, a juvenile male, had a facial injury he reported suffering when 48-year-old Lake Forest resident Mark A. Nottoli, who the victim knows, struck him in the face.The victim was transported by ambulance to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. Officers located Nottoli and spoke with him. He told officers he slapped the victim in the face after the victim swore at him. He was taken into custody, processed and transported toLake County Jail for a bond hearing.
