Lake Forest Police Investigate 2 Home Burglaries

Anyone with information about either break-in is asked to contact a Lake Forest detective.

A television and speakers were stolen from a Lake Forest home earlier this month, police said.

Officers received a report of the burglary Oct. 9, which occurred sometime between Oct. 1-9 on the 1700 block of North Waukegan Road. Police said the front door was forced open and a 35-inch Samsung television and two white Bose speakers were taken. Several other parts of the house were also ransacked.

Police also received a report of a burglarized house the afternoon of Oct. 1 on the 800 block of East Old Elm, where jewelry was taken.
