Lake Forest Residents Charged with Battery After False 911 Call

Two residents were charged with battery, and one of them was also charged with felony disorderly conduct, after police were summoned to their home by a false 911 call.

Two Lake Forest residents are facing battery charges after police said they pushed officers who responded to a false 911 call at their home.

Multiple police units responded at 10:54 p.m. Dec. 29 to a home at 1029 S. Timber Lane after the homeowner called 911 to report an intruder, police said.

After police checked in and around the home, they determined that 50-year-old Robert H. Cameron had falsely reported the break‐in so police would eject a partygoer at his house after a disagreement.
