Lake Forest's Tommy Rees Pleads Not Guilty to Four Misdemeanors

Will return to court for a status hearing July 17.

 

Former Lake Forest High School standout Tommy Rees, the starting quarterback last year at Notre Dame, pled not guilty to four misdemeanor charges stemming from his arrest earlier this month at a house party in South Bend, Ind., according to the Chicago Tribune.

Rees, of Lake Bluff, appeared Thursday morning in St. Joseph County courthouse in South Bend.

, two counts of resisting law enforcement and one count of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. The battery charge was originally listed as a felony, but later reduced by St. Joseph County prosecutors.

A status hearing has been set for July 17, according to the Tribune.
