Lake Forest Teens Cited for Drinking

Consumption of alcohol by minor

An officer attempted to stop a Jeep in the 500 block of Fletcher Circle. Several teens fled from the Jeep into a home there.The officer located beer in the abandoned Jeep. Police were able to eventually speak with the teens, several of whom were identified as having been drinking. WilliamT. Holman, 18, of Lake Forest, Wesley G. Young, 18, of Lake Bluff and a female juvenile were released to their parents and issued an administrative hearing citation for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Police responded to a complaint ofteens drinking in the Laurel Open Lands. They located an intoxicated teen from Kenilworth with an injury to his knee. He was transported to Lake Forest Hospital by paramedics fromthe Lake Forest Fire Department and later cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Police responded to a call of someone screaming for help in the 100 block of North Sheridan Road.Officers located a large outdoor party where numerous minors were found to be drinking. Eight people were cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor. All have a September Administrative Hearing date.
