Leaf Blowing Sparks Police Complaint

Lake Bluff and Lake Forest police officers responded to a report of a fight at 4:10 p.m. Nov. 23 at Lake Forest High School. Officers were unable to locate the subjects. The complainant was someone who didn’t think a group of friends was treating him properly.

A resident of the 500 block of Mawman Avenue reported at 7:37 pm.. Nov. 22 that a neighbor behind them had a flood light that kept going on and off and that it was shining in the resident's windows. The neighbor said they have been having problems with the light and that they would attempt to keep it off.

An officer responded at 11:26 a.m. Nov. 22 to a report of a resident on the 300 block of Green Bay Road blowing leaves from his front yard into the roadway. The officer was unable to get the resident’s attention, so a dispatcher called and left a message telling the resident to clean up the leaves from the roadway. When the officer returned later, the leaves had been removed.

A pedestrian stopped an officer at 4:35 p.m. Nov. 20 and said she heard someone yelling for help near Artesian Park. The pedestrian said she did not see anyone, and that she thought the shout came from the areas of East Prospect and Evanston Avenue. The officer did not find anyone outside in that area.
