Littering Leads to DUI Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI 

Lukasz Klis, 24, of Harwood Heights was arrested April 26 for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. 

Police received a call from an ambulance driver a towel was thrown from the window of a vehicle driving northbound on Highway 41 toward the north village limits, according to the report. When police found and stopped the vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver, Klis. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. May 17 in Waukegan.

Marino Cisneros, 38, of Chicago was arrested April 27 for aggravated driving under the influence, a Class 4 felony, according to Lake Bluff Police reports

Police received a report of a person “driving all over the road” on Highway 41 near West Washington Street, according to the report. Police found the car and observed Cisneros drifting onto the right shoulder, striking the curb and going back into traffic.

After communicating with the Lake County State’s Attorney’s office, a charge of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol was issued, according to the report. Police transported Cisneros to the Lake County Jail for a bond hearing. 

Theft 

Approximately $8,000 worth of landscaping equipment was taken from Mariani Landscaping Tuesday in the 300 block of Rockland Road, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Back pack leaf blowers, line trimmers and other items were taken from locked maintenance trailers parked on the lot overnight. The investigation is continuing. 

Driver’s License Infractions and More 

Fred Hull, 58, of Chicago was arrested Tuesday for driving with a suspended license and driving with only one tail light, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After making the stop, police learned Hull’s license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. June 4.
