Man Arrested for Threatening Lake Forest Resident

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Forest police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The information below comes from the Lake Forest Police Department.

Disorderly conduct

On Jan. 12, an officer responded for a minor traffic crash in a parking lot at Lake Forest Academy. Upon arrival, the Officer learned that Pliny A. Smith, 16, of Lake Forest, whose car had been struck, had become upset and punched the other vehicle following the accident. Smith was issued an Administrative Hearing citation for Disorderly Conduct.

On Jan. 6, an officer met with a resident who received a threatening phone call from an unknown male demanding money be left for him at the front door. Phone records implicated Douglas A. Kuklewski, 44, of Park City, a prior employee of the victim, who admitted he called and demanded money while intoxicated. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct and released.

On Jan. 8, officers responded to the area of June Terrace for a report of an intoxicated teen in that area. Officers located a 16 year old male walking in short sleeves with a small amount of blood on his shirt who appeared to be extremely intoxicated. The teen was transported by ambulance to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and later cited for Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.
