Man Asleep at Steering Wheel Arrested for DUI
Police responded after getting a call about a swerving motorist on Westminster Road.

DUI
Police responded to a call about a motorist swerving on Westminster Road at 6:15 p.m. April 25. Police said they found the driver, Alain J. Rochelemagne, 57, of Lake Forest, asleep at the wheel. He admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety tests, police said, and an open bottle of vodka was found in the car. He later showed a blood-alcohol content of 0.285. He was arrested for DUI and cited for illegal transportation of alcohol, released on $3,000 and given a May 16 court date.

Burglary
A homeowner in the 100 block of West Onwentsia Road returned home after a brief errand at 12:30 p.m. April 21 to find the rear patio door forced open. Nothing was reported taken and no suspects were seen by the homeowner or officers. Anyone with information in this case should contact Det. Kevin Zelk at ZelkK@cityoflakeforest.com.
