Man Charged with Stealing Alcohol from 3 Stores

ALCOHOL

Jordan D. Kindle, 20, was transported to Lake Forest Hospital after paramedics responded to Lake Forest College for a report of an intoxicated student at 2:35 a.m. Jan. 19. He was later charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. His court date is March 4 at the Lake County Courthouse in Park City.

Kirk E. Gilbert, 21, of 5301 S. Natchez, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of a property damage accident at 7:07 p.m. Jan. 17 after police responded to the area of Deerpath and Hawthorn for a report of a vehicle that had struck a tree. Officers  found the vehicle and located Gilbert at Lake Forest College. They said he admitted to drinking and leaving the accident and that he failed three field sobriety tests. His court date is Feb. 25 at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.

THEFT

Adam A. Horszowki , 19, of 4229 N. Meade Ave., Chicago, was charged with three counts of retail  theft and one count of possession of cannabis at 2 p.m. Jan. 14 at Western and Illinois roads after police received a report that a man stole a bottle of alcohol from Fresh Market and left in a tan Infiniti sedan. Officers located the vehicle with Horszowki inside, and store employees identified him. Police said they found other bottles of alcohol that were allegedly stolen from Jewel and CVS. His court date is Feb. 6 at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.
