Police Arrest Beachgoer and More

Possession of Cannabis and more
Thomas Belasco, 19, of Long Grove was arrested April 8 for possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.
Police responded to a call that people might be carrying beer to the Lillian Dells Beach. Upon arrival, police found Belasco and two other people at the beach, according to report. Police discovered the alcohol, cannabis and drug paraphernalia. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. May 7 in Park City.

Driver’s License Infraction
Bertin Gomez, 23, of Vernon Hills was arrested April 7 for driving with a suspended license and speeding, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.

Police clocked Gomez driving 75 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone on Highway 41 south of Highway 176. Upon further investigation police learned his driver’s license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. May 7 in Park City.
