Police Blotter: Lake Bluff Beach Curfew Violations Abound

Beach Curfew 

Four adults consuming alcohol were arrested for violations of beach curfew Saturday at Lillian Dells, according to . The two who said they were driving were tested for impairment and found to be fit to drive. 

Two adults were arrested for beach curfew violations Friday at Lillian Dells, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. One was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stray Dog 

A stray dog was picked up in the 400 block of Ravine Avenue Sunday, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. The owner came to the police station and was given information about where to retrieve the dog.

Theft

A battery charger valued between $20 and $30 was taken from a garage in the 29000 block of North Birch Avenue between 10 p.m. July 7 and 6 a.m. July 8. The theft was reported at 2:29 p.m. July 11. The garage door was believed to be left open, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.

Lost/Missing/Stolen

A briefcase was left at the Lake Bluff Train Depot July 10 and contained a Dell laptop valued at $1,500. The Hartmann briefcase, valued at $450, was reported missing at 10:45 p.m. July 10. The owner was unsure where she left the case inside the depot.
