Police Blotter: Driver Charged With DUI, Endangering Welfare of a Minor

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI 

Lake Maker, 48, of Bannockburn was arrested August 11 for driving under the influence of alcohol and endangering the welfare of a child, according to . 

Police spotted Maker’s vehicle stopped in the driving lane of West Scranton and then watched it swerve in and out of lanes before being stopped by the police, according to the report.

Maker failed a field sobriety test and was then arrested. Maker was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Sept. 21 in Waukegan.

A Lake Bluff resident received a phone call Tuesday from an unknown male saying “you hit my car, you left a note and I need some money,” according to Lake Bluff Police reports. 

The victim told the caller he was wrong. The caller also reported a minor child in the home received a similar call the same day.
