Police Blotter: Driver Violates Train Gate, Arrested for DUI

Felony Driving While License Revoked, Disobeying Train Gate, DUI 

Stacey Neibuhr, 53, of Lake Bluff was arrested August 10 on felony charges of driving with a revoked license, disobeying a railroad gate and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, according to Lake Forest Police reports. 

Police stopped Neibuhr after she crossed the railroad tracks on Westminster near Western in violation of a crossing gate, according to the report. She was found to be under the influence of drugs or combination of drugs and alcohol. She failed a field sobriety test.

After being taken to Lake Forest Hospital, Neibuhr was released and transported to Lake County Jail. She appeared in Lake County Criminal Court Friday.

Sheila Dennett, 26, of Lake Bluff was arrested August 12 for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Lake Forest Police reports. 

Dennett was stopped by police near the intersection of Highway 41 and Westleigh Road, admitted drinking alcohol and failed a field sobriety test. She submitted a breath sample indicating a blood alcohol concentration of .223. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Sept. 25 in Waukegan.
