The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff Police Departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

LAKE FOREST

Illegal Control of Marijuana

Catherine J. Latham, 26, 2506 Carver Ave., North Chicago, was charged with illegal control of marijuana, driving while license suspended and illegal transportation of alcohol Feb. 25 at the intersection of Route 41 and Deerpath Road. The officer conducted a traffic stop after Latham's vehicle had just one headlight. He found her to be in possession of open alcohol and marijuana. Latham was released in a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an April 5 court date in Park City.

Warrant Arrest

Hassan A. Grant, 23, 1458 S. Canal, Chicago, was charged with warrant arrest for failure to appear in court and criminal trespass in Lake County Feb. 18 in the 600 block of North Western Avenue. Grant was aboard a Metra train, and Metra called for assistance in removing him from the train. Grant was not charged in Lake Forest and was transported to Lake County Jail.

Damaged Property

A resident reported graffiti on the railing going down to the beach Feb. 26 in the 700 block of Forest Park Drive. Someone wrote on the railing with a marker, but ended prior to completion. Approximate damage is $50. No suspects at this time.

LAKE BLUFF

Mischief, No Money Loss

A resident in the 300 block of Mawman Avenue reported eggs thrown at the front window of the house on March 5. The resident said the dog began barking at 2:30 a.m. and when they awoke in the morning they found egg yolks on the window. The resident had no idea who would have thrown the eggs.

Criminal Damage

A resident in the 1000 block of Sheridan Road reported roofing nails had been thrown on the driveway and three of them were stuck in his tire on March 3. The officer observed several nails at the end of the driveway. Damage to the tire was $48.50.

Found Article

Police dispatch was advised of a Kodak Easy Share Z7590 black color camera found by the cell tower in the back of the Lake Bluff Fire Department. The camera was logged into the found property book.

Animal Complaint

An officer responded to the 600 block of East Scranton Avenue for a raccoon in a bedroom. Officers were able to remove the raccoon.
