Police Blotter: Lake Forest Resident Arrested for DUI

DUI
Denise Shane, 56, of Lake Forest was arrested July 13 for driving under the influence, according to .
Shane was reported driving erratically from Deerfield almost striking a witness car, according to the report. She refused all field sobriety tests and declined to take chemical tests at the police station. She will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. August 14 in Waukegan.

Battery
James Hara, 37, of Mundelein was arrested for battery July 10 after getting into a fight with a coworker at a construction site in the vicinity of the 800 block of Barberry, according to Lake Forest Police reports. The victim was treated at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital after being thrown to the ground.

Possession of Cannabis
Moises Mejia-Bello, 23, of Highwood was arrested July 10 in the vicinity of McKinley and Westminster for possession of cannabis, according to Lake Forest police reports. Mejia-Bello had a plastic bag in his possession with a leafy substance which field tested positive for cannabis.
