Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Domestic Battery and More

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Forest Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Public Intoxication
Matthew Davis, 22, of Centervile, Ohio, was arrested on Aug. 27 at 4 a.m. and charged with Public Intoxication. Police were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of Washington Court and found Davis intoxicated.

Minor Possession of Alcohol
A 16-year-old Lake Bluff resident was arrested at the corner of Loch and Circle on Aug. 23 at 8:55 p.m. and charged with Minor Possession of Alcohol. Police were called to the area for a vandalized vehicle. Police located the young man and discovered alcohol on his person.

Domestic Battery
Jose Lopez, 56 of Wheeling, was charged with Domestic Battery on Aug. 19 at 3:30 p.m. and arrested in the 100 block of Field Drive. Lopez was held for bond.

Minor Consumption of Alcohol
A 19-year-old Joliet resident was arrested in the 500 block of Sheridan Road on Aug. 28 at 2:25 a.m. and charged with Minor Consumption of Alcohol. Lake Forest College had called the police after they found the woman passed out on the lawn.

Improper Lane Usage, DUI
Thayer Hamoudah, 23 of North Chicago, was arrested at the corner of Route 41 and Gage Lane on Aug. 26 at 2:54 a.m. and charged with Improper Lane Usage and DUI. Hamoudah was called in by the Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network as a possibly impaired driver. He was located by Lake Forest Police and observed swerving outside of his lane. He failed field sobriety tests and breathed a BAC of .090.
