Police: Drugs Involved in Lake Forest Crash

A Lake Forest man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs after police responded to a one-car crash in which a vehicle struck a tree.

Bradley B. Bellei, 23, of 1244 West Fork, told police he smoked cannabis before driving a silver Oldsmobile off the road and into a tree at 11:40 p.m. Oct. 14 on the 1900 block of Bowling Green, police said.

Bellei was transported to Lake Forest Hospital and later taken into custody for driving under the influence of drugs. He was released on a $3,000 bond and given a Nov. 12 court date.
