Police Make Two DUI Arrests in One Day

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Herbert Jones, 47 of Zion was arrested July 20 for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and driving an uninsured motor vehicle, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After a person called the police with a report about Jones’ driving, police stopped him near the intersection of Highways 41 and 137 and determined he should be arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. August 9 in Waukegan. 

Rodrigo Medrano, 42 of Lake Bluff was arrested July 20 for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, making an improper turn and failure to properly secure a child, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. He was stopped near the intersection of Highway41 and West Washington Street. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. August 9 in Waukegan.
