Report of Underage Party Yields Only a House Cleaner

Silver theft
Police are investigating a report of a possible theft of $20,000 in silverware from a home on Mountain Avenue sometime in the past six months.

Swerving truck
Officers responded to northbound Route 41 at 1:15 p.m. April 30 for a report of a semi-truck “driving all over the roadway.” Lake Forest police stopped the truck and issued a warming for distracted driving.

Road rage report
Officers responded to route 176 and Waukegan Road at 6 p.m. April 30 for a report of a road rage incident involving a green Honda, but were unable to locate the car.
DUI
Two vehicles were involved in a crash at Sheridan Road north of Shore Acres Road at 11:15 a.m. May 1. The first driver was taken to the hospital. The second driver was arrested for DUI and possession of cannabis.
911 pocket dial
Police responded to a 911 call May 3 in the 200 block of Hickory Court where the homeowner explained that he had pocket dialed 911 while doing yard work.
Report of party proves false
Officers responded to the 300 block of East Woodland Road at 10:30 p.m. May 3 for the report of an underage party inside a vacant house. Police instead found one person inside who said they were doing cleaning for the homeowner.
