Shirtless Man in Backyard Charged with Resisting Arrest, Underage Drinking

Several traffic arrests were also made.

Driving while license revoked

Brandi N. Buie, 29, of the 2300 block of Western Ave. in Waukegan, was stopped for speeding at 2 a.m. July 11 at Route 41 and Westleigh. She was taken into custody when found to be driving on a revoked license. She was released on $1,500 bond with an Aug. 5 court date.

Dylan M. Sylvester, 22, of the 500 block of Madison in Waukegan, was stopped at 8 a.m. July 9 for a registration violation and taken into custody when he was found to be driving with a suspended license. He was released on $1,500 bond with an Aug. 19 court date.

An officer responded to a report of a possibly impaired driver on Route 41 at 8 p.m. July 7 and stopped Jose P. Zumiga, of the 3400 block of Pershing Road. He was not intoxicated, but was found to be driving on a suspended license. He was released on $1,500 bond and given an Aug. 19 court date.

Disorderly conduct and resisting arrest

Police responded to a home in the 300 block of Ahwahnee Road at 11 p.m. July 4 for a report of a man with no shirt on in the caller’s backyard. When police arrived, Ivan Ramirez, 20, of the 2100 block of Devonshire Road in Waukegan, ran from officers and resisted getting handcuffed once officers caught up with him. He was found to be intoxicated and was charged with disorderly conduct, consumption of alcohol by a minor and resisting arrest. He was released on $1,500 bond with a July 22 court date.
