Car crash
Police responded to West Scranton and Mawman avenues for a two-vehicle accident at 2:30 p.m. June 17. Both drivers were evaluated by EMTs and did not need treatment. One of the drivers was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Police responded to the corner of Evanston and East Center avenues for a report of a blue pick-up truck that ran off the road and onto the parkway, striking a stop sign at 3:30 p.m. June 18. Officers could not find the truck but verified that the stop sign was slightly bent. Public works set up a temporary stop sign.
Stolen gasoline

Someone stole gasoline from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Shore Acres Road. The complaint was made June 20.
Suspicious person
An officer responded to the 300 block of Park Lane for a report of someone in the backyard at 1:30 a.m. June 21. The officer searched the area but found no one. The resident said nothing was disturbed.
Noise complaint
An officer responded to Ravine Forest and Oak Terrace for a report of loud music being played at a construction site at 7:30 a.m. June 21. The officer spoke with the site supervisor, who said they would turn the music down.
