Teen Charged With Stealing $6,100 from Lake Forest Store

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Forest police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 19-year-old Highland Park resident was charged with felony theft after allegedly crediting more than $6,000 in fictitious merchandise from the Lake Forest store she works at.

Vanessa C. Bogdanov, 19, an employee at a retail store in the 200 block of East Deerpath, was arrested and charged with felony theft after Police learned she credited more than $6,100 in fictitious merchandise returns to a friend’s credit card over July and August.

Bogdanov was processed and taken to Lake County Jailfor a bond hearing. She has an August court date.
