Truck Crash Sends Two to Hospital

Injury Accident 

Two people were taken to Lake Forest Hospital May 12 when two vehicles including a semi tractor trailer crashed on Highway 41 near West Washington Street, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Both the Knollwood and North Chicago Fire Departments responded. The semi overturned..

Lawrence Imhoff, 57, of Fox Lake was arrested May 12 for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding, according to Lake Bluff Police reports

Police clocked Imhoff driving 67 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per-hour zone on Sheridan Road near Shoreacres Road, according to the report. After stopping him, police noticed the strong smell of alcohol coming from him. He failed field sobriety tests. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. June 14.

Driver’s License Infractions and More 

Pedro Fernandez, 24, of Waukegan was arrested My 11 for driving without a valid license and speeding, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After stopping him for exceeding the speed limit near Sheridan and Shoreacres Roads, police learned he did not have a valid license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. June 18 in Park City. 

Devon Johnson, 27, of Waukegan was arrested Thursday for driving with a revoked license and driving with a broken tail light, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After noticing the broken light and stopping him, police learned his license was revoked. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. June 4.
